Re: my NC30 rebuild....
a little bit more progress.
First let me say that I have managed to remove the last part of the exhaust (the tricky part at the rear) without any bolt snapping or removing the swingarm, but the oil leak I have there is as bad as the BP oil leak...
Some pictures, valve covers off

semi naked front
Unless I knocked off a shim by accident without realising, but there was a loose shim in the middle of the front head.

Re: my NC30 rebuild....
so a little bit more progress was done today, I didn't have my camera with me this morning as I was taking the bike apart (got it after).
One dirty frame

One very dirty swingarm

the engine partly opened up....

A pile of bits, you got to have a picture of that

Re: my NC30 rebuild....
And some cleaned parts
One clean swingarm

Used some Gunk and a tooth brush...
Rather pleased with the outcome, as I am not building a show bike, that level of cleaning is enough for me.
As you can see from the previous pictures, it's a night and day difference.
That round thing from the back

Whatever you call that

It's going at a much faster pace than I had anticipated, I need to order the rear shock and RO front springs (and other bits)....

I'm going to order a Hagon shock, bike is for road use only (commuting) and will never see the track.surfer 69-b wrote: what shock are you going to use
