I did some big mods on my tank, used a mig then silver soldered for belt and braces effect, however first I washed the tank with soapy water and flooded it with nitrogen when welding and brazing. Belt, braces and another belt, can't be too safe ;)

Cheers lads.I looked at that frost sealer stuff but its only guaranteed to last 2 years. Found a mate in work who might do a silver solder job on it. I don't want to seal the inside of the tank if it's only going to last for 2 years then gum up my carbs.
So I was thinking of silver solder the visible holes then cover the whole seams with the epoxy putty stuff to seal any more potential holes then filler over the top to get a nice finish for painting. Hopefully that should work. :lol:
