going by the akhara parts list i though these were the bearings on DS for the RVF

so the needle one is 29 and radial 25...
the prices on cmsnl are double! :o

yeah, and that still makes it nearly double DS prices
needle bearing 69.50 euros which makes it roughly 58quid

well my 46mm socket arrived today so i'll be able to take it off and have a good look at whats going on in there on Friday :pray:

well i spent this afternoon taking everything off and gave it a good clean, tbh it all 'looked' fine and the bearings werent corroded/shattered/or in bits and were moving freely. i gave everything a good grease and reassembled.
the problem still seems to be there :down:

the wheel is still stiff as anything to turn and still no freewheeling (not even an inch or two) :(
