My intention with this project was to build a supermono track bike for under £1000 so it limits what I really can spend on suspension. I am going to try swap the single brake fork bottoms of the 125 onto RS250 early forks as they are the same diameter. They are still not great forks but at least they have some damping adjustment and heavier springing. There is a bitubo shock available for the 125 which may be an option on the back.
Still, if you have ever watched Aprilia superteens these little bikes really can corner and are acknowledged as one of the fastest cornering bikes around so I hope it will be fun if nothing else. Nice to see a positive reaction to the project too!
