I have just taken off a 160/60 BT016 as it was getting shagged, and I'm now on a 150/60 Dunlop Alpha.
The BT016 gave me no problems doing some decent times at the track (except when they started overheating a little when it was stinking hot), but from the time I first put the tyre on, I hated the profile. Being back at 150/60 is amazingly good.
Short answer: If you can get the right size instead, don't do it. The profile is far too flat and it sucks on the street and on the track. If it's the only size you can get, well, I guess it's better than riding on bare rim. Just.
