I had my old zxr750 serviced by an mobile bike mechanic guy who used to work for a honda dealership and he had a really quick, easy, mess free, and idiot proof way of removing air bubbles when bleeding brakes.

Simply ... attach a long clear tube (long enough to reach the brake fluid reservior pot) to the bleed nipple and put the other end of the tube in an empty container to catch the old fluid.
Open/unscrew the nipple and pump the brake lever to drain all the fluid.
Close the nipple then fill with new fluid.
Open the nipple and pump, or just let a bit of the new fluid flush any old fluid through the line.
Put the open end into the fluid in the reservior pot to make a circuit/loop and pump the lever untill no bubbles can be seen in the pot fluid.
Tighten the nipple and put the left over fluid in the tube back in the bottle, into other brakes if your doing the lot, or just bin it.
Remove the long tube, which can then be used to do the front brake lines one at a time, or connect another tube to do both front calipers at once!

Bobs your uncle!! takes a few mins per line.

I bought some standard clear aquarium airline tubing from a pet shop for a £1 and it fits snuggly on the bleed nipple!!!

styler,

you cant bleed the calipers wit the nipples open you need to apply pressure to the M/C then open the nipple, close nipple release lever other wise when you let go of the lever between pumps it will draw air back in.
