Yes we defo need more info on the LC8 conversion, Its a stonking engine and ripe for a SP1 style twin Akrapovic system on the NC.
Ive got a video somewhere of my old superduke barking through twin akrapovics, pure evil. the thought of that coming out of a little NC makes me
Looks like the tank is gunna have to go under the seat going by the 1st picture. And a lead weight in the nose cone to keep the front on the ground.

There is a guy/colleague that passes me every morning when I pass through security and walk down the long avenue at my contractors area...he rides an orange KTM with LC8 engine!

If this project is actually finished and rideable, it will be the maddest 400hybrid ever.
You can forget 600 coversions!
It may verge on unrideable.......but theres only one way to find out

Re: LC8 990cc in NC35 frame
I'm in socal and contacted that guy about the nc motor as well as the conversion. Should be one capable, if not scary, machine when he gets it sorted. I considered that nc35 engine as a spare for my racebike. Mike does good work and I would imagine that motor should make 65-70hp easy. With overbore pistons (I've got the Cosworths) and good porting you should see 80. Hopefully we'll see some pics of the twin conversion when he gets it done.

Re: LC8 990cc in NC35 frame
Is this a new competition to find the maddest conversion that's do-able? Added to my list of never going to happen things to do in my garage that doesn't exist would combine by love of the handling and styling of my NC35 and the sound of a big v-twin. I wonder what the chassis would make of an SP or 996 lump?
I suspect it wouldn't be very happy... lol
