any change in gearing will put your speedo out, on a 35 try a 14 front and see how you get on. i found it more than pokey enough for the road although to be honest motorway riding was a pain in arse, im going to run 15/40 on my road RVF

Well i hardly ever drive on the highways, i do mostly local driving. how far out will this throw my speedo? and is there anyway of fixing it?

Quite a bit, it'll read faster than your actually going. No way to fix this as far as i know, only option is to change to speedo to adjustable digital unit.

You'd need higher revs to maintain the same speed on a 14t sprocket compared to a 15t sprocket = Loud screamy bike on motorways.
I've dropped to a 14t from a 15t on my NC30 and I need an extra ~1K RPM to maintain 70ish MPH on the motorway.

Sounds like 14 front and standard rear is the way to go :D
can i just buy a NC30 14tooth one or are they different to the NC35
