I have no doubt at all that it is possible to re-calibrate the digital speedo, it's the same internals used across the Yamaha range (those that have digi dash like the R125, R6, R1, Fazer, etc.).

I'll do some investigating when I have the time. I've got a spare 5EB dash so I'll try to get hold of a mate at Yamaha USA to find out if there's any software that can be re-allocated in my direction.
