When for a blast with two others yesterday over the Denbigh moors .I have to say , it was the coldest ride of my life. I think my bollocks actually went in to the warm! Did about 100 miles on my £50 super Cbr600fw, fantastic bike.

Re: First ride of the year...
kin ell that was fun. i took the NC30 out first, and its the first proper dry run i have had on it since i got it back from dynopro and jeez it goes well. Chris has turned possibly one of the slowest NC30's i have ridden to by far the quickest and thats with standard carbs and pipe too. cant believe how willing and strong it pulls now.
that NC30 is the easiest nicest 400 i have ever owned by a long way.
so then after a run to hein gerike in chester i came home and took the 916 out. well after 2 months i forgot how heavy and hard it is. but then i also forgot how it lift the front wheel in second just as the power kicks, no need for any throttle or clutch action.
was tempted to take the MC28 out, but no tax or MOT means the first time it gets a run will be for a MOT sadly.
