Your need to take the paint off those mounts where the disc fixes, also it'll make life easier if you make a kind of spindle for the wheels when painting them. Bit of ally tubing and some wood cut to size does the job nicely, saves having man handle the wheels during painting and you get both sides done at once.

Yeah i know i am a lazy bugger, i did'nt bother masking where the discs seat. I am just in and cleaned the surface with a gasket scraper before the paint fully hardened, so all good.

I'm happy enough with it for being a track bike.
I used 2 pack for the red and white, the red is massy ferguson tractor red LOL and the white is ford diamond white.
The dark and light blue is tamiya model paint sprayed on with a gun.
Sounds like a strange way to go but the local paint shop would only sell a litre of each and i needed very little. I'd used these paints on rc helicopters before and found them easy to use and did'nt react with the upol clear coat that i had already.
It took four little bottles of each blue colour at £1.50 a bottle.
Its about time you boys got out for a run on track, i could get another two bikes in the van for next time if you need a lift.
