You mean, kebab leg? :o First thing I'd do is remove the steering damper but I suspect it's there to stop the wheel touching the rad. Better to mod the lower fork brace with a couple of steering stops. Better yet, re-install NC30 forks.

It turned out that the provenance of the bike was, er, how can I describe it...

Me: "What's the mileage on the new engine?"
Seller (in Thai): "I forgot."
Me: "Does the bike have a green book registration?"
Seller: "Yes! No problem!"
Me: "Is it registered in Bangkok?"
Seller: "No. Bike belong to friend. Bike registered in different province."
Me: "Would you come with me to the Transport Office to help register the bike in my name?"
Seller: "Yes! I help you. No problem!"
Me, thinks, if the owner can't sign the documents, ownership can't be transferred. An NC30 frame with RVF parts, and no owner in sight? :?
Me: "Thanks. I think I'll leave it. Kop khun krap."

Caveat emptor, TIT (This is Thailand).
