Just a thought, mine was leaking from roughly the same area. It turned out to the the water pump o-ring seal. Wasn't a big job to do. I did a write up in the old forum if its any help.

in referance to this, do you know what size o-ring it was as i think my oil leak is origionating from there and want to make sure i have the corroct o-ring before i strip the pump off, cheers
