Sport Demons are sport-touring tyres and not available in 150/60/17.. there very similar to BT45's or a weaker BT92, had a set on one of the 24's as I wanted to try radial tyres, ended up getting a BT39 afterwards which didn't square off as much or take so long to break in.

Still not a bad tyre, especially for the price, i'd stick them on older bikes if the bridgstones wern't available.

Alpha 10's and BT90's are totally different league and are proper supersport '400' tyres... bear in mind they wont' last long (couple of thousand miles) but you shuoldn't really need anything sticker on a trackday :)

Sorry for the thread jump, I need to replace both tyre's on the bike and was looking to get the BT92's again I spoke to Greame France, and it seem tyre prices have shot up over the summer months, so I have a look at FWR site and find a set of Alpha 10's for £169, this is cheaper than the 92's so...

1) what are the Alpha's like in the wet? I ride all year round with the exception of snow/ice?
2) Would you choose em over the BT92's for a road bike?

Cheers again Guys

Matt

They're fine, fontyy was referring to racing with them in the wet

Every time!!
Being a (much) stickier tyre they wear a lot quicker than the 92's, but they only need to save your life once before you won't buy anything else!!

Really, why buy a sports bike and fit touring tyres? :?:
