I was thinking along the lines of FZR600 forks, etc. seeing as I have three sets in the garage

Fair enough.. no idea what calipers etc are on them.
When I was messing about with 24's I looked into the CBR400 fork tubes / NC30 lower legs, NC30 calipers / wheel etc as a viable option.
Junked it all in the end and invested it in a newer bike and kept the 24's standard.
Much more fun.

I can fit R6/R1/Cat/Ace Blue Spot calipers straight on to either FZ or FZR forks

Will pre 1990 VFR750 calipers fit? They look identical excepting the actual fork mounts, which are a seperate piece anyway

Doesn't matter for now, I've persuaded the wife to buy the set on eBay with the braided lines

Non-standard resevoir and brake lever.
Looks like a Kawasaki one judging by the clips on the hose!
Glad it is in decent condition, just make sure the slider pins are clean and greased with proper grease.
