I had BT45's on my first nc21,then on my nc24, and now on my VFR400K and have had no problems at all either on the road or the two track days I did. When my old BMW R90 needed new tyres and the tyre place could not supply its usual Michelin Macadams I put BT45's on that as well and again I have no complaints

I think you can get pirelli sport demons for the 24 which are radial tyres..
they'll probably be a bit more forgiving..

Maybe I'm missing something.. but wouldn't you want to have the best helmet possible protecting your head from hitting the track, especially at high speeds? I'm pretty sure helmets aren't just there to look pretty, mate..
That's just my opinion.. but I wouldn't want to have brain damage because I wanted to keep my other helmet looking nice..
As long as they have the gold sticker on and fit properly then I think it is safe to assume they will do the job as well as an Arai or Shoei.
In any case, Nitro shells and Shoei shells are the same, made in the same factory and to the same standards. It's only the paint schemes, linings, vents and price that are so different.
As a matter of fact, there are only three factories in the world who make the shells.
