PM reply sent. link to DIY instructions.
BUT before you do that, you need to look at a few things.
1) any fuses blown in the fuse box in the LHS of nose cone? if the fuse to the dash is gone it will put your bike in to restriction mode.
2) are ALL the plugs plugged in behind your dash? one leading in to the speedo MUST be plugged in or.. your bike goes in to restriction mode.
what is "restriction mode?"
this happens when a signal gets disrupted between the speed limiter sensor that sits inside your speedo and the CDi unit. 4 things will set this off.
1) on non-mod bikes- when you hit 112mph as a disk cuts the sensor beam= signal cut = CDI shutting down 2 spark plugs.
2) when you get well in to the red zone RPM wise.
3) your by-pass mod isnt wired in right or missing/broken
4) fuse is blown in the fuse box to your dash/horn/indicators.. if none of these work its a dead cert its the fuse.

thanks for your reply and PM
none of my fuses have blown and it has brand new spark plugs. all of the connectors are correct behind the dash!
i wonder why my bike is in restricted mode?

ok, now the fun begins!
you need to trace the wiring from your dash BACK to the CDI unit. your looking for breaks in the restriction wires, chafed wires that are shorting on the frame, burnt wires etc. .. your following the 2 wires as per my instructions + your wiring diagram will help.
your bike will restrict if that signal is disrupted. you have to find the disruption.
