Re: Time's up for my NC30
It's very tempting to take the easy route, but this project's never been about that.
I've already got a rectangular shaped reflective sticker that I got with a tail tidy, but it's just a bit too....erm, not right.
At least if I go to the trouble of making up a bracket for my reflector, it'll look a little more OE.

If you make a bracket up for it then please post up pics and details of how you made/fitted it.
Pretty please

It's not going to be anything complicated - most likely a t-plate of some sort.
Think the most complicated bracket was for my speedo sensor, but nothing really to rave about.

That is a GORGEOUS bike. I'm normally an OE man myself but the paint scheme you have there is just brill!
Loosing a friend is hard, and finishing what you started is a lovely sign of respect.
Where are you based? I'm probably not too far from you, in Surrey, am I?

Oh cool, I live in Camberley, sometimes head over to Newlands Corner. Good burgers and tea there.

I sometimes pop up to Newlands, might see you up there sometime.
The NC30 has now been added to my CBR Insurance policy, all modications declared, for the pricey sum of £27.30
Road legal can might be with me as soon as the weekend. Gotta start thinking of when to book up the MOT...

Re: Time's up for my NC30
Same bike yes.
Bit of an update. After a bit of a scare after finding the bike leaking oil, from what appeared to be behind the front sprocket cover, further investigation revealled a leak from further up the engine block. Either the cam cover, or most likely the cam breather on the top of the rear cylinder head has a faulty gasket. Will be sorting shortly.
Big thanks to Rhory and NC30V, who generously sourced a couple of parts for me. I've got a week off work coming up and some parts on order, so will be finally giving the bike the attention it deserves. Does mean I'll be getting my hands dirty again, what with a few items requiring a little restoration.
