Back on track though, what revs do you guys let these little 400 rev to if wanting to get off the line fairly sharpish?

TBH, it's never something I've ever thought about but when messing about with mates doing traffic light GP's I'd have gone up to 7/8000rpm and once I started letting the clutch out I'd hold the throttle to the stop. The 400 will let you away with that, try doing it on something bigger and start climbing over the front wheel to keep it down.

Yeah i had a poopy pants moment a few years back om my zx636r (C1H), at some lights and there was B1H beside me (1 year older than mine) so i gave it a few too many revs and woooooo hooooo, must of looked good to him while i was climbing over the front of the bike, but totally unintentional on my part lol:D
Kind of figured the VFR would struggle to do that with me, yet i thought i would ask the question before pointlessly dialing in 10k of clutch slip :D
