My RVF400 project
Front took a bit of time to fit but they fit perfect, rear fits fine but there's a big gap at the back .LUCAS wrote:OMG those carbon fibre panels are awesome!!! Bike is looking great. I would maybe go with gold wheels.... but could see black suiting it...
How did the fairing and rear seat unit fit? Just that i was thinking of getting the original shape Tyga fairings.
Between Under the back lights and the number plate holder.
Might upload a pic later

I guess I don't need a number plate night coz of the rear brake light shines down ?

Fucking A mate carbon looks great!
I agree on the mirrors and indicators, original ftw but if that's your thing that's all good.
With regards to the tyga original shape seat units, mine fits great, needed a few tweeks but the quality is top notch.

You wouldn't have thought they would have finished it like that but either way its minor. I must say i wasn't taken by the carbon fibre fairing from the pictures on the Tyga website but thats looks great! I also agree to the comment about the silencers matching. If i get a bonus at Christmas (pigs might fly) i know which fairing im going for nowcode2006 wrote:Pic of the gap

Re: My RVF400 project
How are going to get on with an MOT with that setup? I have the single carbon can and i have my MOT this month. Was worried with the noise level thats all. MOT places seem to be cracking down on noisy silencers but there are no provisions to fit a baffle

Well my bike still has a few months mot left. I will take it to the person I bought it from he works in a bike shop and he said when the bike needs an mot he will do it for £20 lolLUCAS wrote:How are going to get on with an MOT with that setup? Not sure how much an mot is but cant be much more than that

Re: My RVF400 project
I have baffles being made at the moment for all the TYGA cans single and doubles they will be £14.95 each and all you will need to do is drill a small hole in the end cap to fit them with a bolt that scews in so they will be removable
