If you are going through the centre of monaco, try and take in the agip petrol station thats just at the start of the tunnel. its underground and is the coolest petrol station ive ever been to. - quite mad!

mark have a great time, switzerland and austrian roads will blow your mind, been the italy through switzerland / austria route you have planned, its ok but better can be had via lake como, stay left of the lake come via belagio, and enter switzerland that way, far far better suited to a bike mate.
you will have some great fun, enjoy, pics and reports from steve's please.
+1
Enjoy the trip, Mark. And the BBQ at Steve's place! :peace:

Been to these countries on my NC35...started on the Germany autobahn blasting into Austria for hotel stays, made couple of day trips to Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Italy. Stelvio is awesome.

Well. Am at serriers en chantagne. It is hot, damn hot. Hotter than a snakes arse in a wagon rut. Some pukka roads, some pricey beer and a southerly direction means we're not in Kansas anymore! 2 more french days, then Pisa. Wicked! Hope you lot are well. Got my knee down fully panniered up on the 7r so that was cool.

Looking forward to seeing you guys! I am making a shopping list of food for the BBQ. My wife makes some killer chip dip called Cowboy Salsa. Maybe I will try and talk her into making a batch!

I'm very very jealous, reading that just makes me want to cry - cant believe its been 6 weeks since we set off on our Mugello trip. Cant wait to go Magny Cours in October now.
Give my best to vfrman; sadly we never made it to Pisa.
Enjoy!
