Much to loud, I found the stubby on my NC30 with no baffle a little to loud for working nights.

Baffle went back in tonight, not alot quieter, going to miss the popping though.

hey quick question!

can the maggot can fit on my nc30 without me having to weld a link pipe over the standard pipe itself?
or can i just cut it and slip it over and have it spring loaded?

Do you just want a loud pipe Josh? Or specifically a maggot? :o

Did you ever get a half system sorted?

Well my current ART oval can isn't particularly loud, so I thought I'd try something a bit louder, but I don't really like the look of cut down stubby cans. I'm not sure the look of the maggot suits the bike, but I do think it looks like a nice trick bit of kit, so I'm willing to give one a try.

Half and full systems are really hit and miss. I think I'd like something a bit special, maybe just one with a carbon can, or a twin-stack one, or an SP1 style, just so I felt like I'd got something for my money, y'no?
How does the sound of a half/full system compare to that of a standard system with a straight-through can?

I'll meet you half way and you can have a look at my moto - got a half on there, quite short can - it is pretty loud and sounds lovely.

Half systems can be raspy sounding due to the joins and the springs or if it is just a Yamamoto...

A pricy system is almost an investment - you can get back what you paid in as there is always someone after a system.

FYI - This system sounded great! SP1 style MHP I think, someone on here bought it off me when I sold the bike in standard trim.
