Yes and no,
I want it to be usable on the road, but still a good track machine. i thought this section might be better as the tech area generally ends up talking about specific bits ie "I need this bit.... where do I get it from?" I intended this to be more of a discussion about getting the best out of the bike, and thought I'd start where Clarkson would

Hey Dom i read your on for a trackday- mega fun! Put good rubber on it, check ya oil,fluids and if you got time do the valves and then come back and post your results. It will be interesting to see what things you feel are good/bad about the bike compared to the road.

as vv says make sure everything is checked. dont overlook your brake pads make sure they are fresh too. sp carbs and xams sacrifice low end. but top end does make a difference. even better again with the 442 its amazing. are any of you on msn? if you are pm me your addy

Just got back from checking the bike out... Apparently I have a few problems which need sorting, my rear brake system needs an overhaul, they overhauled the block, but didn't have the bits to sort out the reservoir, so I'll be after one of them, and apparently the baffles in my exhaust have gone so...
