You may like to try Scotchbrite then clear laquer as used on some other Honda fork legs, a little more understated I think.
I used 3M green, then stove enamel clear laquer, but a Halfords aerosol alloy wheel laquer works if the leg is warmed first to prevent blooming.

If you think that the workbench is tidy, should see the rest of the garage, I cant stand mess!!! lol
Everything in the toolchest has its place, and all are in the correct order ie 6mm /8mm /10mm spanners in corrct order, screwdivers in order of size etc
Think that I have OCD!!!!!!!!!!!
Still, what do you guys think, polished lowers or painted silver lowers?

Quality finish on the fork legs Dave. Think that I'm going down that route. Just bought some scotch brite pads at Halfords today.
How do you use them, just rub like wet n dry? Do I use them dry or wet??

Wrap the dry pad around the leg and don't rub up and down, but around the leg to give a machined type circular linished finish.

Its taken me about 5 hours to do one leg so far. I'm now dreading doing the other, lol
The NC is a single sided swingarm model, why cant it be a single sided fork version too?
