Would a worn clutch cause the revs to noticeably dip? S'pose it could be clutch slip from worjn plates. Felt like fuelling though. However that was really a hunch.

A worn clutch can cause juddering and harsh takeoff's as it no-longer engages smoothley and tends to bite harshly, this could also cause your revs to drop as its engaging.

If its worn to the point its slipping, then your revs will increase more than your speed.
