If it's any help. I recently had a couple of my old books posted to the UK from Japan, the package weighed 1250g and sent by EMS cost ¥3250 (£23.50)

Thanks alot, I`ll give it a try for a few parts. Should not be that expensive to ship to the US, since they have storage here.

Mori Mori :D He's an awesome fella. UK man who lives in Japan. He's also a Kawaskai nut! (Much to the disgust of some people on here no doubt

)
No doubt he'll be able to help you with this but dont' forget if your importing a bike, besides the cost of the bike you'll have to pay for shipping / crating... (£5-600'ish) Import Duty / Tax... (££Depends on Value / Age) & Registration Costs + MOT + Tax (£55.00 + Tax Cost + £27.50)
It's not a cheap option unless your importing a LOT of bikes at the same time.. if theres something your specifically after it might be worth speaking to an importer... i.e: DK Spares... West Coast Imports and ask either of them if they can try and get hold of one and have it bulk shipped when they order new stock, they'll also do most of the import registration / tax duty etc etc.
But if moneys no object and you absaloubtly must have something don't let it put you off, it's relativly striaght forward process.. just make sure the bike you buy has the Japanese log-book with it otherwise you need to shell out extra money to get the bike date certified before you can register it.
