Nothing wrong with the quality. It's just that Factory decided to 'invent' their own sizes for jets and needles. And this meant that most steared well clear of them (for 400 V4s anyway). Factory jets are equivalent to 1 or 2 sizes up on regular jets (depending on size). I haven't had the pleasure of measuring the needles up, but the taper may be out, as I recall many woes off the old forum. OE would be a much better start point and save heaps of some suffering with set-up (it's hard enough already!). If you want aftermarket, get some tried and true HRC reps of Rick and you're sorted.

Rick has sorted me out with his RO road needles and shim kit as well as some #120 dynojet mains, new float bowl o rings ( so that I can put th float bowls on the right carbs with the drain screws facing outwards!) and a set of stainless allen bolts to replace the carb top screw and float bowl screws as they were chewing up.

I actually manage to snap two of the 'factory' main jets whilst unscrewing them, they seemed to be made of chewing gum!

Just need to get it out on the road now to see how it goes, Cams (Dataracer) guide was spot on and made the job super easy

Rick did it again and did me proud by getting the bits to me in 48hours - cheers again, pal
