Flat slides are rubbish! They are restricted as stock and the slides do not open fully. Unless you are a very very good racer you will prob go faster with more linear CVs.
Ill swap them for a set of CVs and a toffee apple though,

CV's are the worst carbs going! FCR's everytime for me, alot sharper than the cv carb.

The ones with gold calipers are rare? oh bugger.. someones just got a bargain then. it had pink wheels as spares?
i ran flatsides at the southern 100 and struggled like mad to get used to them after years of cvs. then i realised my wide open motocross starts were the problem and i needed to be a bit more gentle.

The calipers didn't change so it's only that they're gold painted that's any different. The wheels were White or Purple for the later one

Loads have been raced - it's almost a shame cos there aren't so many left as road bikes

Bargain it may be mick, but i'll never live the pink wheels down, unless I finish first of course

. Gold calipers I can live with.
Jayneymac - pink, blue, white, bike

? Colours aside why spoil a good track bike with mirrors?

The bike has black race fairings at mo.but when i put it back on road i will put on original fairings.
Is there a colour chart for the paint for the tank as i will have to respray it.

spot on evil,i had 93 yzf750 with 92 exup ru motor in it in "cocktail" colours and they do look like exactly the same shades.funny though i hated my yzf750 hybrid in those colours but the 3tj6 looks amazing or is it just me.
