The red wing model was the last, 1990 RL [300 for the US and 100 for the UK]
The last RKs [after frame No 651] also had red wing and a wing set in the top yoke.

I did 3,500 from new in the first 2 years on this one, and then laid it up, as I bought another to mess around with and ride.

Listed at £18,000 starting price, but then reduced to £16,000 starting price with no reserve.
After 2 bids of £16,000 and £16,100 the auction is now finished with NO bids, bike unsold.

i would say that he reduced the price then had second thoughts. Dave the two holes in the front fairing, are they for headlight adjustment or something? Do they all have that??

Yes, the holes are headlight adjuster access, there are small rubber bungs from a Suzuki GSXR footrest that fit the holes nicely, but I dont have the part number to hand.

The fairings for the small headlight models have no access holes.

They are,
Japanese 1987 model RH. 1000
NZ [88 RJ] and Australian [88-9 RJ-K] models. 145.
