Ask the guy on here who has one how his runs..
Well, off the top of my head...
NC30 frame is better.. brakes / suspension are also better!
NC24 has an oil cooler as standard. Servicing costs are cheaper. (chepaer plugs)
Stock motors produce identical power and torque yet the NC24 fires 180.. :) I prefer that sound
Valve clearances dont' require shims to readjust
Depends on what your used to tuning I guess :)
Plus its not too commonplace..
And in the 30 frame you can use 30 exhaust systems :D Dual stack lefty... oh yes!

That makes life *so* much easier, sure you need to do them more but they are so much easier to do, genuine F1 technology on the RC24 too (I presume the same for the NC24).

Well you *could* except that's surely all wrong for the firing order?
NC30/35 pair the front and rear banks together and then join them. ie 1&3 are paired then 2&4
The RC24 (ie 180 firing order) pairs both left and both right together and then joins them (in a 4-2-1-2 originally). ie 1&2 and 3&4.
I believe (but can't remember) the NC24 does a straight 4-1.
How much difference it would make in the real world I don't know.

Yeah it's 4-1 standard. And oh shit yes
Y'know I hadn't actually put much thought into that yet, my main concerns been with getting the rear pipes out of the way of the centrally mounted shock, similar to how the NC30 does... hence borrowing the design. >.<
The NC24's TT-F3 version is right / left bank paired too, also in a 4-1 config.
And yes.. valve clearnaces that can be checked and adjusted with a spanner is much easier ^_^ I think the shims are supposed to increase the interval between check points.. but the increase is offset by the cost :/

Hey Neo. that gives me an idea.

Do you think it would be possible to run an NC24 with twin exhausts like that but one on each side so it avoids the shock problem? That way it could have smaller silencer boxes.

*cough* 4-2-1.

Haha! That was a geunine typo

I meant also in a 4-2-1, like in the RC24 you mentioned :-)

No reason you couldn't, it's pretty much how the RC24 does it.
First like this:
Then later bikes like this:
That joins the two before it splits again but you could just leave out part '4' and run two pipes.

Thats easier to implement on the NC24 than having it split front / rear...
