thought it was time for some pictures, the bikes currently at my brother in laws who preps race bikes as a bit of a side line, unfortunately his new workshop is not finished so its stuck in the old garage with the other crap like washing machines etc.
this is the first time i have seen the bodywork in the daylight and i think it looks good, once i get the black on to break it up and get some number boards and sponsors on. Does anyone have a spare RS250 number board i could borrow as a template? easier than starting from scratch
the new shock ready for fitting
at present it has an rs250 aprilia shock with vfr spring, anyone interested once its out?
i also have a hrc style grp air tray i wont be using now i have decided to go ram air.

fits good, just had to thin it down around the sreen to clear the bars really, might cause slight problems with the ram air ducts but sure i can sort that easily enough
as for the number boards, no problem.
got a picture on my phone somewhere, will try and get it sent to my email and then load it on here.

Well after getting messed around by ktech for several months with a price that double once they got the forks i had em returned (in a box as a pile of bits) and got some springs from Rick Oliver, got them reassembled and back in bike, shocks on now (so rs250 shock about to go on ebay.) and the exhausts has been fitted and can shortened.
Bodyworks been on to trial fit and still needs a little reshaping where the exhaust exits but nothing that cant be sorted.
Hopefully there will be somne more fettling over the day and maybe some fully assembled pictures tonight, by the way, the lad in the picture is my brother in law, he is a bike mechanic and does the normal road bike stuff and preps race bike, hes based in moercambe so if anyone needs anything doing let me know and i will pm his details. Usually this time of year hes over at the TT with John McG but not gone this year (good job for me really)
