So about how much more will it weigh compared to the nc29 swingarm? How will the handleing be affected, and how hard of a swap is it?

Dont know,is it the right length? Would the shock need respringing,valving etc?

Someone on here fitted an FZR400 3TJ double sided swingarm to an NC30 (true!) and the NC30 swingarm setup was lighter than the FZR400...

Can't find the thread sorry.

Personally I think the nc29 and nc30 swingarms would weigh about the same amount (plus or minus a few hundred grams).

What was the verdict here?

Would the NC30 swing arm fit straight onto the NC29?

Not a straight swap.
NC swing arms take a lot of fitting to anything else due the the vertical shock position of the NC.
This is due to the V 4 motor coming back further than inline engines.
You have to move the upper frame shock mount backwards so need good engineering skills.
