Hi,

You really would be best to get it running etc, it looks a cracking bike! And in the best colourscheme. :)

If you do end up breaking it, can i be considered for the fairing infills. - They would be perfect for mine.

Tbh breaking it would probably get you more money than selling it as a non-runner if you had the patience.

Different bike but nc23 engine mine would not start after only three weeks or so what I did in the end was to remove the plugs and heat them on a stove then whip them in quick like and away she went

Are you about tomorrow? (sunday) Give me a post code and I can drop in after I fix my CG. I'm only from Thetford, about 40 miles from you, I'll bring my haynes manual and a few tools and we can set to work on it. Would be no trouble at all mate, I'll be about after 11ish and can be there til 4.30ish

I have a set of spare NGK plugs in my shed, I'll bring them just in case yours have failed

News update: i've got a week off next week and have got permission to use the inlaws guarage to rebuild the engine...

List of things to do includes:
Double checking the timing... (might be the reason why she wont start?).
Removing the sealant between the two crank case halves (i have a bad feeling that it got into the grooves where the oil flows..
Double checking that the gearbox was set up correctly..
And finally i've got a bolt hole to re tap where the casing bolts on..

After that its gonna be a case of putting it back togeather and fitting it back into the bike ect (  )

I'll try to keep you all updated with my progress.
