i think there is a lad on there Dguntor perhaps, who has done massive mileage, in the 100K region
my speedo reads 66K but i know for a fact there is a minimum of 70K Kms on the engine ( i have changed the clocks after a prang)

i completely agree, untill i got my nc30 i had been riding the cbr every day for 2 years, previous to that it was used every day by my mums husband for 6 years.

starts first time every time :) you just gotta look after them and you shouldnt have many problems

All the NCs in Australia seem to suspiciously have between 15-25k on the odo. That's the import game for you though :whistle:

Going back to my previous comment about Honda's being practically bomb proof, there was an early fireblade (around 1997) in my local Honda dealership with over 100,000miles on the clock and the engine still sounded spot on.

Most modern bike engines will do well over the 100,000mile mark if not double that as long as they are treated right.If it is ridden with a little sympathy ie.changing up before the valves bounce and with a little maintenance ie not letting it run out of oil or coolant and occasionally getting it properly serviced,your machine will just go on and on.

couldnt agree more, but i must point out that my cbr250 is from 1989 not exactly modern

must be about time i did the clearances on the nc though... i need new feeler gagues first
