Excellent article you have written here Dataracer. It explains everything quite clearly
and gives me the much needed knowledge to re-jet myself these xmas holidays.
With an article like that for me to follow I can't wait to get stuck into it. I shall
post back once I have completed the work in a few weeks. I'll be off to order some
new main jets this week. Thanks again!!

If you choose to use new carb rubbers, then you need to ensure that they're on the correct carbs (front and rear rubbers are different) and facing the correct direction (they have an arrow marked on them). New carb rubbers make getting the carbs back on much simpler.

I omitted this because if you choose to use your existing carb rubbers and notice that they're not on the correct carbs (front or rear) and facing the wrong direction, then leave them be! It's likely that they will have 'set' and changing them around to their correct carbs will certainly not help when it comes time to put the carbs back on.

Once you have the carbs off, the procedure is the same as nc30 carbs (except recommended jet sizes).

Superb write up, Cam. With the added pics everything falls in to place very well especially the washers on the needles and what effect it has.

Must have taken ages but will save a lot of us a lot of time and no doubt endless cock ups.

As CRM says, any chance of this in PDF so we can print it and take it to the garage? My laptop isnt allowed in there cos it comes out covered in grease n crap!! lol
