Thanks everyone for all your advice, as the concensus is the carbs I will go with you guys, carbs will be done on Thursday, will let you know how it goes. Its my first 400, usually just have 1000`s but really like it, so I hope I can get it running well to its full potential. Wish I had one years ago, handles so well and is fun to ride. Thanks again

Got bike sorted today, number one cylinder was flooding, so it was the carb. All done and goes fine now. Thanks for all the help.
