I live in Bangor, Co. Down when I'm there Chris, just dont get to see it as often as I'd like!! Handiest route for you if driving is the Liverpool-Belfast ferry, but it's a long crossing. Shorter crossing time but a longer drive for you is to head on up to Stranraer. Everywhere you'd want to be going is a couple of hours drive from Belfast, and I'm about 20 minutes down the coast from there!
