Had a few more bits arrive! I now have everything I need to put the engine back together with. So over the next week or so as time permits i'll be repainting the motor and cleaning up the frame and putting them both back together.

Then I can start playing with the exhaust system ;)

Geekiness test:

Whats this for? No cheating.. even if you look up the part number you'll just see it listed as 'Nut Special 6mm' ;)

Great - now I'm a geek.

I'm also currently rebuilding an NC24 over the winter which I got cheaply enough - however my initial tidy up has developed into a full scale project and I have had the frame, engine covers, front calipers powder coated. Not too many mods but I'm fitting the hydraulic clutch system off an NC21 following the excellent instructions on a certain site.

You powdercoated the frame? :O

Did you keep it silver coloured?

Yes its still silver coloured - I used Triple S in Bingley who have done a fantastic job. The frame was in a bad condition cosmetically and powder coating seemed the best solution.
