Defiantly 4 short if you spend most of your time over 10K.
oh i think you do nige, thats what my P reg is. And no i don't have that much money either LOL.

Took it out for a good run earlier and it's definately fluffy in the mid, possibly more so with this filter so sticking the 124's in and dropping the needles. That will then be as it came so will see what that does
so what are the differences on the r model carbs then, other than the trumpets?
may be worth knowing as i ma trying to set up an older set with the slides,d/j needles,d/j springs from the knackered r model set.hope there isnt any difference on pilots etc.will dig out the haynes and have a ganders.
i did contact gf earlier this week but got no esponse to a quetsion about the engine rubbers.the ones on the r model seem to have 94 wnbossedon the top of them and have 2 small sections of the engine edge lip that have been scooped away.only about 3mm but never seen it before,so wondered what that was about.any ideas people?

I assume it got something to do with the 53bhp restriction I think it was posted in this forum sometime back. Apparently the rubber is thicker at some point causing the restriction but looking at my 94 marked rubbers I could see no rubber that was thicker than the circumference of the inlet manifold or carb needed, so maybe there is more too it?

i ned to find out for definate as its got those in and if they are estrictiong the airflow its pointless me going out to test the bike if they are smaller.luckily i have got plenty of other ones so can fit them if this is true.saying that its running 124 mains with those so i will have to move up probably again on mains to accomadate.i am only doing all this to get some decent bhp figures so i can sell the lump with proven power.its got a standard engine going in to sell the bike.anybody got any ideas about these rubbers then?
