The needles being worn seemed to result in a bit of hesitancy at around 5-6k, that's in a 57k bike that was[1] making a healthy 57.56bhp.

I am not sure my air box has this air snorkel on ? I'll have to check and if not get one ordered.

Well the reason I am changing the needles and main jet is because there is clearly something wrong with the bike as it tops out at 109mph also there is a huge flat spot in the mid range and the power seams hesitant.

Because I don't want to keep taking carbs off and on again etc while there in bits I might as well put new parts in there and just enjoy running the bike.

With emulsion tubes I have replaced these in the past on a Exup and man it made the world of difference, I will probably leave these if you think its not important but on the factory pro site it says even the slighest ovaling can effect running and again while the carbs are stripped I thought why not while its all in bits, but I will inspect and have a look, I just want me RVF to be the best it can be

I dont know much about the bike as its new but I am learning daily, it has a K&N style air filter, that rubber snorkel thing is missing, the bike was 5 teeth more at the rear end, it has a full tyga stainless system on it and there fueling is all messed up

By rubber flap we dont mean the snorkle but a flat piece of rubber that attaches under the headstock.

Hmm not sure cant say I have seen any but I will take some pics tomorrow and fire em up so we can see
