Over rev is the cause apparently, valve bounce/float. As I think i said in my original thread you can hear it bounce in the video after it popped out of gear, no idea what RPM's it takes to do that?. Hence why I want put a revlimiter on it.
I don't want to reduce it, it doesn't have one currently, I just want one at say 14500 approx.

I don't doubt kept within its rev window, they'll keep going for many seasons. Well that was my plan anyways lol

No truth. The rev limit is programmed into the cdi and can't be changed on standard units.
