indeed

, but the polished swing arm isnt on yet

will put that on when i replace the chain, the gaurds will be resprayed when i do the fairing in a few months, still quite a bit of work to do

, but the funds just arnt there at the mo, plus im in the middle of a cb750 restoration,

One more - hot to polish the fuel tank cap. No idea how to do this in case it's possible.

I've done mine in the past. I used an 8" bench grinder with mops. The only issue I had was getting a good finish on the little grooves around the outside of it. Other than that, quite easy. A good tip for preparation before polishing is remove paint/anodising/coating with acid or caustic soda - very quick and easy. Otherwise, you can just use the bench grinder to tear through it with the mops on.
I don't polish much these days though - too much upkeep. Everyone knows that black is the new polished
