Have now finished with the jobs I'd planned. All in with years' tax and mot including the bike comes just shy of my budget of £1500 and done in 3 weeks.

t cut....hmm. ive always given the idea of t-cutting my paintwork a thought, but never actually done it. does it actually work?

Just one question... whats this earthing upgrade kit?

regarding t-cutting, I actually used rubbing compound. has worked really well everytime I've used it and really freshens up tired paintwork. then followed by lots of turtle-wax's finest and elbow grease. it made a huge difference on both this bike and my other 80's toy, a GSXR750 (which often gets comments on how good the paint looks for 23yrs old...)

the earthing kit I got from Rick Oliver. it earths the coils, battery, loom to the engine. I was having charging problems and they are cheap so decided to give one a go. not sure if it makes a huge difference but the theory of better earthing is a good one.

also - just remembered that having looked at 2 other NC30's in the colour scheme that I have some gold stripes missing from the fairing sides. have ordered some from ebay :)
