Re: NC30 Fuel consumpton.
ha I had this very convo a while back
mine was struggling to get 60 miles before reserve, but I was only doing stop start trips through town to college and furious ride outs where I wasnt shifting til 13k in every gear.
thought their was a major problem but then rode to silverstone, and did 130 miles before hitting reserve (stayed in 6th all way their and never went over 9k)
time before last I filled up i worked out it did an average of 27mpg, today it was 33mpg, that silverstone trip was 54mpg
just shows its all how you ride it
although I know my bike is very rich

Re: NC30 Fuel consumpton.
Just fwiw you can use google to easily calculate MPG rather than get the calculator, for example you can see how bad the RC24 is when given a minor spanking...
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=17+lit ... les+in+mpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Or on economy mode.
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=17+lit ... les+in+mpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Or more a 400 sized consumption
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=13+lit ... +km+in+mpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Druid
PS last run out the RC24 was a tiny smidge better than the NC35!

My 43mpg sounds good then, but I sometimes forget, and change up before 13,000rpm by mistake. :-)Spike16 wrote:ha I had this very convo a while back
