Re: Longest road trip you've taken
VFR Model: NC30
Distance:350miles from Leeds to Bournemouth.
Breaks: 3 petrol stops
Enjoyment: 1st bike, 1st ride since passing my test 2 days previous, 1st night ride, fricking awesome!
Discomfort: Scared shitless sitting on the M1 for a couple of hours on my first new bike after passing my test - too much adrenaline to feel any pain. Also wearing my fat headed mates helmet and jacket (just passed didnt have any gear of me own), made me feel like a sail catching the wind.
Average Speed: 70mph - leaning on the m'way felt very foreign to me.
Luggage: Rucksack.
Fuel Economy: No idea.
All in all worth every mile!
