Limp home mode....Help!!

Post by Drunkn Munky »

Ok some of you know that i made a complete new loom for my track to road NC35 and that im not using the speedo so its just dawned on me that the rough running when reving the bike up above 5k is the bike going into limp home mode due to there not being no speedo connected.
How can a fix this without connecting a speedo?

You need to trick the cdi to thinkin the speedo is attached. Resistor mod, earth the 12v orang/blue?

All i did when i swapped my jap speedo for a UK mph one was to take the little curcuit board thing out of the old speedo and connect it into the loom in a small plastic back done up with insulation tape and then stick it behind the clocks and it works just fine
