wobbly front mudguard

Post by banoffee »

rode my nc30 without earplugs yesterday and noticed a slight rattle over bumps - turns out to be the front mudguard. it's tight on the bolts however the plastic 'hoops' are slightly loose on the forks. any ideas on how to tweak them?

common, a good fix is to use clear silicone sealant, a thin smear on clean legs (the bikes not yours), then slide the white mounts over the top. wipe of excess, leave to set overnight, refit mudguard - jobs a fish !

There are cheap pattern copies available (suggesting it is indeed a common problem!), but the quick fixes suggested above will probably work just as well.
