Superfour carburettors
I bought a 92 NC31 Superfour as a non runner its in a bit of a state so I got it on the lift to start renovating two of the first things I found wrong was the wiring harness had been butchered and the ht leads were in the wrong order.
The wiring from the breaker to the igntion system was broken I think (hope
)I have managed to repair that time will tell.
I removed the swinging arm to clean it up check and regrease the bearings, this was in good order though the shocks are done for ,still looking for these.
I removed the exhaust without breaking any studs although first attempts to try and release the nuts was a bit butt clenching as they were solid with no give at all so I soaked them in plusgas for a few days and tapped lightly with a small hammer to try and persuade the plusgas to creep in further it seemed to work as they did eventually give, how lucky was that.
There was no headlamp and no clocks either, I have managed to source these though.
I had the devil of a job to remove the carburettors as the mounts were so hard, I eventually managed to get them off but found someone had made some sort of botched repair on them so I am lookin for a replacement set with no luck so far, does anyone know if a set from any other honda will fit and run ok.
