Please be more specific on the options for the 76 that you are looking for, at this point i dont know if your looking for a sissy bar or ape hanger handle bars...CheersPsychosomatic88 wrote:That's a little unfair I think Diogo. But I do know what you mean, sure the GSXR crowd dont have a lot to say from what Ive read so far, but us V4 boys in the Honda section have lots o threads on all ranges of fettling, modifying and tech things.diogo wrote:this site in a bit dead in terms of new ideas and tech solutions
no ofenses tho
Diogo
Both of these are unfair comments. we have lots to say and a few of us have said it over and over...sure the Honda section is great, look what the owner rides...we have asked to have things made sticky with no response...the same things happen to all the 400 suzuki's for the most part but we can not get them stickied...so what im saying is we have talked about the carbs the charging and other stuff so much some might be a bit tired...we have lost info and had to replace it so much people keep important stuff saved on files just in case this great site goes down or you can go to http://www.gsxr400.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for another load of stored gsxr info...or http://www.banditalley.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to read about the bandit 400 info which that bike has similar issues as well and the same motor for the most part as the gk73a...so to make a long story short do a search and you will find all you need...
Anyway I bought my second 76a this morning and will be looking into work on it as I have not much of a clue on them like the V4 (had 5 V4's now) so if anyone can point me into what I should be looking at as options to the 76 then go ahead.

I fully agree with you gsxr400 racer. Im sure you guys really know these things in better than anyone else out there, and I totally understand why when every week somebody is asking what tyres/spark plugs/carb settings etc they need to use. because its a ball ache to keep re-typing the same responses that can be found using the search.
Which is why I was sticking up for you guys albeit looks a little unclear so sorry on that.

It would make sense. Is there no admin to do it down here?
Yeah I had a 1990 GK76a 2 years ago so know a bit about them and their 'quirks' :D pondering the 636 front end, spotted my fully adjustable shock that I want. Otherwise, make it all work and look pretty, then start trying to squeeze out more ponies.
Havent seen stripes around in ages, does he still have that shop (or his mate) selling GK76 performance bits? thought it was the enth degree but cant find it now. Shame really

Just out of interest, how easy is it to fit a 636 front end to a GK76a?
My wife has a GK76a in lots of parts and I keep eyeing it up thinking what I could do if let loose...
Alex.

I may be being thick, but can you point me in the direction of these pics? Or Paul's username?
