as i said to mark before i think this is a great idea for a topic as he's using alot of info gained from this site over the years so this success story has the site to thank in a lot of ways

personally i'm really looking forward to seeing what you can do with the bike and just how far you're going to take it

more power to your arm mark ...

This is a great thread!! I'm also really interested in racing - but just don't have the money to throw at it being a student lol. Although I'm kinda hoping the uni might let me use some of there top notch equipment....I'm sure i could pass it off as a project ;)

Spike, are you gonna be racing your 30 that you currently use on the road? Or you got another bike all together??

yeah, that looks OK that does Si.

I am an old skooler so old skool bodywork for me.

NOthing doing just yet as still need to put the engine back together and fit a new loom and get it fired up.

changed oil on no9 as I was there and had some...

The bike is going to be running sometime next week I hope - then I will be onto chassis mods like fork rebuilds, shock fettling and possible attempt a personal rebuild (if the seals etc are not hyper expensive)

cheers for the interest guys (and gals)

I reckon Spike should do a roadbike to streetstock thread.... :poke:

What rounds are you planning on doing? Would need to book some time in advance to come and [s]have a laugh[/s] lend some moral support.

After reading your thread ive decided to make a Wet bike out of all the spares that come with the bike though so im not being too lazy.
